Perhaps the best respected and most well known church in Kansas is the Jerry Johnston First Family Church, which has a long standing reputation for helping out people in need and bringing people in. They have quite a few different pastors and conduct a number of events. The most popular one, of course, occurs on Sunday. You can attend for free (even if you’re not a member) and participate in a so called “worshipping session”, although it’s recommended that you bring your own bible. Churches often are involved in conflicts, and the First Family Church is no exception, but at least in my experience the people that work at the First Family Church are very good people and the church does a lot of great things.
